German-American Heritage and Japheth Mythology

The primary group of people who constitute the Holy Empire of Japhetic Free States are descendants of German immigrants to the American Midwest. While there are many subcultures, including descendants of Dutch, Anglo, Swedes, Jews, etc. the culture at large is largely a callback to German roots while maintaining the american zeal.

One thing which unites the Japhites culturally is their shared belief in Judaism, adhering to the Noahide laws, and a unique cultural enshrinement of their biblical and extra-biblical European ancestors, predominantly Japheth; oldest son of Noah and father to the European peoples.

The predominant religion of the nation is Judaism, and the majority of citizens, being gentiles, subject themselves to Noahide courts. However, adherence to Judaism is by no means obligatory and the inherently polycentric nature of the legal structure leaves a number of citizens outside the jurisdiction of Noahide courts.
