The Imperial Legion Autobiography

The following text is recreated from a post on this thread by Laos Refugees/Imperium Neo Roma/Boomhaueristan on The Imperial Legion's forum on December 27th, 2011. The only edits made are to formatting to make it slightly more readable. It should be noted that this history is incomplete, as it leaves out everything that happened beyond the year of 2011, and it is written with bias from a controversial member of the region.

Founding
January Tenth, 2011. Initial project, closed at first. Experienced and learned peoples joined region, got appointed to positions, region opened. 21-22 Days after founding Laos Refugees, self proclaimed rogue Saboteur-Delegate of NAZI EUROPE is invited and joins the region as Delegate. Other people, such as Rappatoni, Rinamir Mortem, Ascenia, Yonghuoyan, Sov, and New Enterprise join the region and are government members when it opens. Usual People in Life, current Delegate, comes from NAZI EUROPE with Laos Refugees.

Original Founders
Durk II Sole Founder. Rappatoni, Rinamir Mortem, Ascenia, Yonghuoyan, Sov, New Enterprise, Laos Refugees, and Usual People in Life.

Wars (Victories and defeats)
Two small colonizations. War with The 10000 Islands that was in name and government only. No regions were taken or lost by either side. Short Delegacy skirmish with Nazis, from NAZI EUROPE or elsewhere.

The Great Schism
Durk II is on a business trip for a weekend, he has no internet when he was suppose to and therefore cannot communicate with members. The three most powerful members, Ascieina, Rinamir Mortem (Or Conservita Victoria) and Laos Refugees form a short lived Triumvirate. Rinamir Mortem and Ascienia leave to found a new region know as The Conservative Empire (TCE or CE). Laos Refugees joins a day late as War Leader. Many, including Yonghuoyan, XYR10, and others leave. At the initial point of this, TIL was over 400 people strong.

Durk II returns, finds the mess laughable. Laos Refugees and several others return, Laos Refugees denounces Rinamir Mortem and starts the oldest TIL rivalry. Rinamir is accused by Emperor Durk II as a spy for the Founderless Regions Alliance (FRA) and is later branded as an alt of a Game Moderator by the name of Sedgistan. Eventually, most of the CE returns, except for Rinamir Mortem and a new accomplice, by the name of British Nation States (BNS, now known as Emperor Tex)

BNS returns to TIL under a new name, and CE is abandoned by Rinamir and left to disappear entirely. Eventually Rinamir is pardoned and returns, an uneasy truce starts between Laos Refugees and Rinamir. Soon after, in case of such an event happens again, Emperor Durk II becomes Lord High Executioner Durk II and names Laos Refugees as his Heir, who also becomes Lord High Steward

The Second Schism
Durk II steps down, Laos Refugees ascends to the position of Lord High Executioner LRn. Unlike the softer Durk II, LRn is harsher, bolder, and not as forgiving. Things become more orderly yet members of the forum could not handle the pressure. After a period of whispering by now Exiled XYR10 (also known simply as Xyr), LRn grows distrustful of the younger population of the forum, generally in their mid teens. After an argument with King Vadlic, a simple member of the forums and the courts, Vadlic leaves, starting a small chain reaction of leavings by his associates. LRn then removes the entire court system without going through The House of Lords or The House of Commons, this is seen as a Tyrannical move. The LRn v. Rinamir Mortem Rivalry flares up once more. Usual People in Life becomes Delegate after Xyr abandons his duties.

XYR10 leaves to found the region known as The Endless Void, nearly the entire Roleplay and otherwise active community leaves to join the region. LRn attempts to keep things going, ignore EV, and grow the region out with his few associates, mainly Tex, Yong, and Emperor Bad. Seeing no hope, LRn has his heir, Tex, become Lord High Executioner, and steps down as a lowly citizen. When Tex considers XYR10 to be Lord High Steward, and have LRn become heir to the throne he just stepped down from, LRn is disappointed in this political move and leaves TIL for an unknown amount of time.

In The Endless Void (EV), things are going slightly smooth. The main focus of the region is a Roleplay forum with a small Dictator type of governmental system. Soon enough, after Civil and Roleplay arguments, Emperor Bad is more or less forced out of the region. At the same time, Tex is getting TIL straightened out with the help of the newly returned Sov. EV becomes more and more inactive, with LRn becoming a RPer only. Through the actions of Dictator XYR, a vote is arranged and he is thrown out of power. TIL is still growing stronger once again.

EV is becoming a skeleton, and Emperor Tex starts a vote that, for all purposes, makes EV a colony of TIL. The vote is passed and after a week XYR10 shows his colors once again and is UNANIMOUSLY voted to be exiled for the rest of his life, never to be in TIL or her colonies. The Second Schism ends with LRn, Rinamir Mortem, and others returning to TIL. The LRn v. Rinamir Mortem Fued is, for all purposes buried. They got to cofound a Noble house with Sov.

Delegate Crisis's
Qvars, who is either a rogue, or a Nazi, takes over the delegate position from LRn, before being dealt with. LRn resumes the delegate position yet his nation is banned for several incidents with a particular moderator. He returns as Imperium Neo Roma, yet decides against becoming delegate in the case of further deletion. UPIL becomes Delegate for three weeks, then Rinamir Mortem becomes delegate for a month, until he leaves for The Conservative Empire. UPIL becomes delegate for a near month, before a rogue known as Alghanistan takes the delegate position, on the same day XYR10 is elected delegate and assumes the position. He is delegate for 3 weeks until he leaves to forum a new region with Rinamir Mortem known as The Dark Knights, for the third and final time, UPIL becomes delegate. 12/27/2011 is his 200th day as delegate, the longest in TIL history.
